Post-Party Exhaustion
I blame that for my lack of posting until now :) The weekend was so much fun! We were so happy to have about 30 of our friends and family here hanging out with us on Saturday...then Wil and I spent all day Sunday trying to rest and recover! We took Wil's uncle out to his plane at the airport at 5:00am, made a quick stop to visit with Wil's dad at Starbucks, then fell right back into bed and slept until about 10:00am. I didn't even bother trying to clean up the house and the yard until today. I went to work this morning and spent the afternoon cleaning up the post-party mess. I also managed to take some scrapping breaks and got a few layouts done today :) I even started making some pages for a wedding scrapbook! I'm so nervous to start this project because I want to be good :)
Big excitement in the scrapbooking world today...two of the fabulous women that I work on Creative Teams for have joined forces to bring us one super-scrapbooking site! Michelle Coleman of Second Mile Designs and Nancie Rowe Janitz of Scrapartist have come together at ScrapArtist.com and have also welcomed designers Susan Bachman and Dianne Rigdon into the fold! Michelle and Nancie are such amazing women and I know they will provide a happy environment for us to grow as scrapbookers and artists :) Oh...and here's the best part....big sale to celebrate! Go check it out....

Now - since I've been sitting at a desk or standing behind a kitchen counter/sink, I plan to grab a beer from the fridge and go sit on my patio with a book before it gets too dark out :)

All good clean-up efforts deserve a reward! Hope you enjoyed your beer break! I opted for the new Dreyer's Dibs for my reward today! :D
Jess, thanks for the nice note of congrats... it was a rough weekend, technically speaking, but hopefully all the bugs have been worked out! We are so happy you're a part of it too! Hugs! N.
